Our research spans the disciplinary of chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry and electrical engineering. The core research objective is innovating new materials, process and system for energy conversion and storage, and sustainable chemical production. Currently we are primarily working on the following two research areas:
1. Atomic-scale catalysts: design, synthesis, and elucidation of atomic-scale catalysts for carbon molecules (e.g., CO2, CO, and CH4) transformation and PEM fuel cells.
1. Atomic-scale catalysts: design, synthesis, and elucidation of atomic-scale catalysts for carbon molecules (e.g., CO2, CO, and CH4) transformation and PEM fuel cells.
2. Chemical Processes: Development of transformative processes and modular reactors for carbon molecules to chemicals/fuels conversion using magneto/thermo/photo/electrochemical energy.
